"Be Still and Know that I am God..." - Psalm 46:10

If you were with us on Sunday, January 1st, you heard this first message on how to and why we need to be still and know that God is God! The Lord spoke this verse and now the accompanying messages into my heart to start us off in our new year as a church for 2023. It is helpful and centering to set an intention for your new year whether that's on your birthday or every time our calendar rolls over into a collective new year. Let this be one of our intentions this 2023, to be still and know that He is God. To pick up our feet and let the current of the Holy Spirit and God's holy will and ways take over.
I referenced a man who inspired that understanding of picking up your feet and going with the currents, but guess what? I found him and he actually says it in even a different way than that so here he is in a five minute clip actually demonstrating, Be still and know that He is God:
So what is so cool is that you can now think of this verse in many different ways, as I said picking up your feet and releasing and then as the Hebrew word also means, surrender and let go and now sink down! During our message on Sunday, I gave us an acronym for KNOW that He is God, here it is and will be unfolding each week in our messages:
K - Kneel before the Lord as He is our God, take 5 minutes every day in silence to be w/Him
N - Nail...
O - Own...
W - Walk...
He will reveal even more of Himself as we are still before Him, as we kneel before Him, as we keep our hearts postured in total abandonment to Him and His purposes. Be with us the few Sundays in January to hear more about how to know He is God! And last but not least, we have Consecration Week 2023 this month which will be a week of prayer and fasting to dedicate ourselves and our year individually and corporately to the Lord! This will be taking place January 16th - January 20th and is reflected in the calendar below. Love everyone!
