Lots to Celebrate!

We have a lot to celebrate and thank God for this past several weeks at Evergreen Church! A couple of the larger items are our "Serve-tember" volunteer campaign and our new Fall Alpha Group that launched last week. During August and September we gathered signups for areas of service around the church such as media, production, coffee cart, and greeters just to name a few. We had an outstanding response and over the month of September with a couple of trainings we were able to kick-off our Serve Sunday on the last Sunday in September! We have our October serving calendar rotation full and planned out as of today. Praise God for this next step breakthrough at Evergreen!

Additionally, as I mentioned above, we started our Fall Alpha Group last Tuesday and had a really great discussion time after the talk. Alpha course is great for strengthening foundations of Christianity and for anyone who has no religious affiliation, but who wants to learn more and have a safe space for dialogue. The current course will run through December 12th, but another remotely hosted online Alpha is still gathering signups!

It is a beautiful thing how God has led us through this time of "Faith in Action, Acts in Action" (our theme for the second half of the year) and He has given us tangible ways to reach out and serve. Not only has He given us this corporate chance to put our faith in action, but I have been hearing more and more individual stories of ways the Lord is granting boldness and opportunity for people to be used for Kingdom of God purposes. As we have leaned into this rallying cry together and in faith, the Holy Spirit has been leading our steps in each of our daily lives and in our corporate life together! We are so grateful to be serving the Lord Jesus together at Evergreen Church. We continue to ask the Lord Jesus for the Kingdom of God to completely breakthrough in us and breakout among us!

Stay connected and stay in touch with us as we sometimes have spontaneous events or meetings that get planned (think church cleaning work day, etc.). But, we are here for you and love everyone! Praying for you and your households!
